Time’s Person of the Year
Elon Musk has announced a new timeframe for his massive Mars project, and it’s coming sooner than you would imagine. “I’ll be astonished if we don’t land on Mars within five years,” Musk told Time Magazine in an article published Monday about SpaceX transporting humanity to Mars. Musk, the SpaceX founder and CEO who was selected Time’s Person of the Year, has grandiose ambitions for Mars, including a self-sustaining city with solar-powered hydroponic farms where humans may dwell permanently 34 million miles away.
