Mark Zuckerberg’s response to Elon Musk’s idea of live streaming their cage fight on X is a suggestion that more reliable platform than X should be used
Harmless banter between Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and twitter owner Elon Musk on social media is keeping the world entertained although both gentlemen tend to cross the line of decency occasionally. Just recently Musk had opined that Zuck is a cuck. When rumours of Meta launching rival of twitter started floating in the air Musk had said, “I’m sure Earth can’t wait to be exclusively under Zuck’s thumb with no other options. At least it will be ‘sane’. Was worried there for a moment.” Yesterday Zuck took a dig at Musk’s platform X when Musk unilaterally asserted that cage fight between Musk and Zuck will be live streamed on X. In an X post Musk had written, “Zuck v Musk fight will be live-streamed on X.” He had added, “All proceeds will go to charity for veterans.” Zuck responded to this assertion of Musk quite promptly. Taking to thread he shared a screenshot of Musk’s post and remarked, “Shouldn’t we use a more reliable platform that can actually raise money for charity?”
These are not the only examples of harmless banter between Zuck and Musk on social media. Purported still to be scheduled cage fight between Musk and Zuckerberg has triggered a continuous indirect banter between these two gentlemen on social media. When a user warned Musk about taking on Zuckerberg informing him about jiu-jitsu skills of Zuck, Musk opined, “up for a cage match if he is lol.” Responding promptly Meta CEO shared screenshot of Muck’s dare on Instagram with the caption- “Send me location”.
After the fixing of cage fight with each other by Musk and Zuck much water has flown under the bridge but interest in public has not lessened. Initially Musk suggested venue for the fight as Las Vegas but later on he suggested colosseum in Rome as the venue. Musk has even speculated about outcome of the bout. He had said that “if the fight is short, I probably win. If long, he may win on endurance. I am much bigger and there is a reason MMA has weight divisions.” Musk has said that he was lifting weights to train for the fight but he also informed that he may have to undergo a surgery before the fight. “I’m getting an MRI of my neck & upper back tomorrow,” Musk wrote Sunday night. He added, “May require surgery before the fight can happen. Will know this week.”
