In a message that appeared to encourage truckers protesting vaccination requirements, Elon Musk likened Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to Adolf Hitler, sparking a Twitter storm.
Musk wrote the tweet shortly before midnight in California on Wednesday, and it was gone by midday on Thursday, with no explanation. In response to a request for comment, he did answer. Musk, the CEO of Tesla Inc, tweeted support for Canadian truckers who have shut down roads and bridges, attracting international attention to their objections to Trudeau’s government’s health policies in late January.
